
(via Fotoflow: Chicago City Pools) - Photographer Missy Weimer photographed all 47 of Chicago’s public swimming pools during the summer of 2010. She’ll be presenting 17 photographs from this documentary series this Friday evening at Wright, the design auction house, in West Town.

There’s a really awesome mural around the corner from my home in Logan Square (Chicago). It’s in the parking lot of Pierre’s bakery. It makes me smile every time I walk by it. I took this photo of it for you guys to enjoy.

This new video from Battles is a whole lot of fun! I really enjoy the sporadic barrage of imagery, but in video form. I also like pretty girls, and there’s no shortage.

Matt Panuska is a young illustrator born in Cleveland, and now resides in new York. His slightly gruesome, poppy animated illustrations of guts in conflict, dogs innards and cloaked monsters guarntee an active imagination and dedication to his work.

Cleon Peterson’s “White Flag” show at the Joshua Liner Gallery looks amazing. I had seen some of these images before, but wasn’t aware of their size.
